Blindbluff Love in a Mist, ROM was our first Beardie. She is listed as foundation stock for the breed. Would love to have her size and outline today.
Can. Am. CH. Colbra Blue Spruce, our first Champion and the first Beardie champion in our home state of Ohio. He could fly.
CH. Lovenmist Black Bozley, our first homebred champion. One of the very first Beardies to be X-Rayed OFA Excellent. Not only a pretty face.
Can. & Am. CH. Brambledale Boz owned by Barbara Blake. We were fortunate to have shown this outstanding stud dog to his Am. Championship. His expression is still unsurpassed today and he helped to further hook us on the breed.
Can. Bda. & Am. CH. Willowferry Victor. We were fortunate to have shown North America's first Best in Show Beardie to his American Championship. He was owned by Barbara Blake, and there could not have been a more dignified Beardie.
CH. Lovenmist Blue Jeans is pictured going RWB (from the 12-18 mo. class) to the eventual BIS winner at the breed's first National Specialty.
CH. Lovenmist Blue Jeans again at a later age. Always one of our favorites - she absolutely hated to show - one of her offspring is pictured below.
Lovenmist Blackbriar pictured going RWD at National Specialty from 12-18 class. Judge Osborne's critique referenced him to her famous ENG. CH. BRAVO of BOTHKENNAR
