Having a long-time association with Bearded Collies, we remain active in the breed and continue to show and breed an occasional litter. Finding time from our other interests, we currently are showing some young dogs from recent litters.  Recently, Wille went WD/BOS and Rocky went WB on the same day while Willie went away WD at another show on the same weekend. Watch for Rocky and Willie at future shows with Gunner waiting in the wings. These dogs are from our Woody (Ch. Lovenmist Black Cruiser x Ch. Camerons Lovenmist Limited) and Jessie (Ch. Lovenmist Black Lethem x Ch. Camerons Lovenmist Limited) repeat litters.  Woody, owned by Glenn and Pat Whapham, is pictured in the inset and is also shown "kicking back" in the Whapham family portrait below.

In addition to our occasional showing, Joe is a licensed judge for the breed and is approved to judge the Herding Group, all the breeds in the Herding Group and Boxers. Very active in our All-Breed club, Marsha has served, until recently, as President of Lorain County Kennel Club since 1986 while Joe has been the summer Show Chairman since 1983. We are most proud of having spearheaded the purchase of show grounds for the Lorain County Kennel Club in August 1991.  A tree donor's program, implementation of a ring-side reservations concept, construction of a large shelter and added drives on the grounds have occupied enormous amounts of time over the years, but have secured a wonderful future for area dogs.
