Having a long-time association with Bearded Collies, we still have 4 older Bearded Collies at home, the oldest being 18. We no longer breed them as we too have gotten older. Still finding enjoyment in the world of show dogs, we purchased a Briard to maintain our involvement in showing . We felt at the time that acquiring another Beardie would result in much second guessing on our part. Always addicted tp hair, we chose a Briard for our diversion. Another great choice it has been. He has been shown successfully by our daughter Karen and is loved by all. His name is Colby and here is his very own page.

In addition to our occasional showing, Joe is a licensed judge for the breed and is approved to judge the Herding Group, all the breeds in the Herding Group and Boxers, Doberman Pinschers and Alaskan Malamutes as well as Best in Show.. Very active in our All-Breed club, Marsha has served many years as President and Treasurer of Lorain County Kennel Club while Joe has been the summer Show Chairman since 1983. We are most proud of having spearheaded the purchase of show grounds for the Lorain County Kennel Club in August 1991.  A tree donor's program, implementation of a ring-side reservations concept, construction of a large shelter and added drives on the grounds have occupied enormous amounts of time over the years, but have secured a wonderful future for area dogs. Come say hello to us at one of the shows we attend and say you saw us on the web. E-Mail us if you need information.
